Drabble 84

Finished 00:19. And I'm cutting it dangerously close to missing the last bus.

“Raven, where is our Author?” asked Blue, checking under the bed one last time. “I’m pretty sure s/he’s supposed to be writing right about now.”
“I don’t know. I don’t have somebody following them, you know. S/he’s probably just gone to the shop or something anyway,” replied Raven.
“What would s/he need to go to the shop for in the middle of the night?” asked Blue.
“Food? Have you seen our Author? S/he’s pretty hefty. I’m just saying don’t be surprised if s/he turns up halfway through a burger, and I’m sure s/he’ll get this drabble done on time anyway.”

Drabble 83

Finished at 23:39. Still no laptop.

It was long past nightfall when Raven and Blue finally got back to Raven’s cottage, having left Tzu at her camp, and Blue was getting jittery. “That leprechaun is out there somewhere. It’s scheming something, I’m sure,” Blue muttered, trying to pull his stolen horse into Raven’s kitchen. “I’m not leaving my horse out there. I’ll go out in the morning and find he has a horn.”
“You have completely lost your mind,” Raven told him, taking the reins off him to take the horse out to the stables; “and I wasn’t entirely convinced you had one to begin with.”

Drabble 82

Finished at 5:50. Despite what the rediculous time might imply, I am still using library computers. I stayed in overnight to get started on an essay, and... we... Yeah, I just dicked about on the internet. But I know how to play Yahtzee now :D Don't judge me, I get bored easily and I really didn't actualy want to do this essay :P

When Tzu and Raven had finally finished their oh so important talks in the tent they finally came to relive Blue, who’d been diligently keeping watch for the leprechaun. “He’s really bothered by this, isn’t he?” asked Tzu, nudging Blue with her foot.
“You know,” replied Raven, “I’ve seen him act pretty crazy at times, but this may actually be the craziest.” He waved a hand in front of Blue’s face, trying to get Blue’s attention, but all it achieved was Blue swatting his hand away and continuing to stare into the woods, presumably for the reappearance of the leprechaun.

Drabble 81

Finished 23:24. These are actually getting put up at a reasonable time because I'm having to work by the bus timetables and not just whenever I feel like it. You'll know when my laptop is fixed because I'll start posting at stupid hours again.

After Tzu had checked for the third time and was certain that there was no leprechaun outside, she finally convinced Blue to go back outside with the horses. “How do you put up with that man? He’s like a child!” Tzu snapped when Blue was finally out of the tent.
“Practise, mostly, and a very sturdy cage for when he really plays up,” replied Raven. He settled back into the chair opposite Tzu’s desk, kicking his feet up. “How did you get all of this stuff out here, anyway? Isn’t it heavy? And inconvient?” asked Raven.
“Servants,” was Tzu’s reply.

Drabble 80

Finished at 19:28. I'm getting sick of this damn library. So, the bad news here, beside the fact that laptop repairs will cost me over a hundred quid, is that all my data could not be salvaged from the harddrive. I'd been meaning to back it all up for a while, and kept telling myself "oh, I'll do it tomorrow," and, well, yeah... I suppose that's my own fault for not baqcking things up, but honestly I seriously just want to crawl into a hole and die right now D:

After a little more effort than he would have liked, Raven had finally gotten the Author tied up into a chair. “Is missing data really worth killing yourself over?” asked Blue, poking the Author.
“S/he seems to think so,” replied Raven. He turned back to the Author and told zir, harshly, “No suicide.”
“Not even a little bit of suicide?” whined the Author.
“How do you commit ‘a little bit’ of suicide?” asked Blue.
“No suicide,” repeated Raven, pushing the end of a pen into the Author’s mouth and dropping a notepad onto zir lap; “now shut up and write.”

Drabble 79

Finished 23:43, still in the campus library. I do not like being in campus this late and not being drunk.

“The leprechaun is back,” Blue answered, when Tzu eventually asked him just what he was doing in her tent.
“And you’re hiding from it?” asked Raven. He was surprised that Blue was choosing to run and hide rather than his usual tactic of just setting things on fire. “I don’t like leprechauns,” Blue explained. It didn’t do much to explain to Raven just why Blue couldn’t deal with the leprechaun and be done with it, but between that and the way his horse was shaking he was pretty sure he didn’t want to go out and deal with it himself.
