Drabble 35

Finished 3:45.

Eventually humming stopped gaining a reaction from Anansi, and so he had to get creative. Currently he was reciting an old and particularly dull poem, something that was gaining him a particularly severe response. Anansi punched him particularly hard in the stomach, then backhanded him again. Raven was fairly confident by this point that he’d have a fair few bruises. “What, do you just enjoy this or something?” asked Anansi, brushing a loose strand of hair off of Raven’s face. It was an oddly soft gesture, given the context. “Don’t flatter yourself,” spat Raven. “It’s just that you’re boring me.”
