Down in the basement where Raven was being kept he had gotten bored of trying to get a reaction out of Anansi. He was now sat quietly, watching Anansi across the room, waiting for any sign of a change in the circumstances. It took longer than he would have liked, but eventually somebody, a servant by the looks of it, edged tentatively into the basement to speak with Anansi. Whatever it was it didn’t please Anansi, and he stormed out of the basement in a huff, dragging the poor servant along with him and leaving Raven alone in the dark.
