Drabble 36

Sometime just after sunset, Blue and General Tzu arrived in a small village, which housed a surprisingly large manor house. Tzu seemed confident that that was where they we supposed to be going, and so Blue followed her. He tied the horse up to the front gate, just loose enough that he could untie it easily if they needed to leave in a hurry. Before he followed Tzu into the grounds he looked the horse in the face and told her, “If I find you’ve spouted a horn when I come back, you and I are going to have issues.”
