As the hoards of zombies shambled about outside, what few survivors had not yet manages to get themselves killed were hiding in an office building. It was multi-storey, with big heavy doors that the zombies would never be able to get through. In the unlikely occurrence that the zombies did get into the building then they would need to shuffle up multiple flights of stairs to get the survivors, giving them chance to barricade themselves in. Unfortunately, that's as far as their planning had gone and they hadn't gathered any supplies. Within a month they had all starved to death.
