Anansi had been standing quietly, apparently having forgotten about his tea and the scones, and Raven was growing increasingly uncomfortable. He didn't doubt for one moment that Anansi really would bring him back home in chains, and he knew just exactly how that would end for him. Eventually, Anansi decided he had nothing else left to say and walked out of the office, leaving Raven sitting alone with a sinking feeling in his stomach. He wasn't going to expect Blue to rescue him a second time, after all, and he hated to admit it but he'd fallen out of practice.
