After
Anansi had left, Raven was left with absolutely nothing to do but
scheme. Or, rather, try to scheme, since the bland and boring nature
of Anansi's study wasn't exactly conductive to scheming. There wasn't
anything to even hint what Anansi had been doing the past few years
sine they'd parted ways, what he was doing in Acellevin or just why
is so desperately wanted Mary-Tzu dead, nor was there anything he
could use as a weapon or to help him escape. Anansi had clearly
thought about all of that when arranging the room, and it was driving
Raven mad.
