Out
in the mountains, a small village lay in ruins. The
only survivor was a small child, who'd hidden under his bed when the
soldiers had passed through his house. He
would grow up to become a great warrior, and seek revenge on the men
who'd destroyed his village and killed his family, ultimately ending
the reign of the evil king that was responsible for all of the
suffering in the land. Or he would have done, anyway, had Anansi not
been so ridiculously prepared and sent the soldiers in to
double-check for survivors, to avoid just such a situation.
